Plan a campaign, choose its channels and budget, and record the results so you can see what worked.

Purpose
A campaign reaches out to the community for a goal, such as more event sign-ups or more members. This guide shows you how to plan a campaign, record its details, and measure its results.
Who this is for
This guide is for administrators and coordinators who run outreach and marketing campaigns.
What you need
- A clear goal for the campaign.
- The dates the campaign will run.
- The channels you will use, such as social media or email.
- The budget, if the campaign has one.
What you will do
- Create the campaign.
- Add the campaign details.
- Choose the channels.
- Set the target audience.
- Record the results.
- Review what worked.
Instructions
- Open the Campaigns menu from the main navigation.
- Select New campaign.
- Enter the campaign name in the Name field.
- Add the channels you will use in the Channels field.
- Set the Start date and End date.
- Describe the Target audience.
- Enter the Budget if there is one.
- Select Save.
To record results:
- Open the campaign record.
- Select Add result.
- Enter the Reach, or how many people saw the campaign.
- Enter the Signups the campaign produced.
- Enter the Attendance at events that came from the campaign.
- Enter the Cost.
- The Conversion rate shows how many people who saw the campaign took action.
- Select Save result.
What happens next
The campaign shows its plan and its results side by side. You can compare reach, signups, and cost to see whether the campaign was worth it. The results feed into marketing reports.
Troubleshooting

| You need to change the dates | Open the campaign, edit the dates, and save. |
| The results look wrong | Open the campaign results and correct the numbers. |
| The conversion rate is very low | Review the target audience and channels, and plan changes for the next campaign. |
