Purpose
Feedback tells you how the community experiences your services. This guide shows you how to receive feedback, review it, and decide what needs to happen next.
Who this is for
This guide is for administrators and coordinators who respond to community feedback.
What you need
- Access to the Feedback menu.
- A way for people to submit feedback, such as the public feedback form.
- Time to review and respond to what comes in.
What you will do
- Review the feedback list.
- Read each submission.
- Sort feedback by topic and importance.
- Decide whether follow-up is needed.
- Act on the feedback.
Instructions
- Open the Feedback menu from the main navigation.
- Select the All feedback list.
To review a submission:
- Open the feedback item.
- Read the Topic and the Notes.
- Check the Category and the Importance.
- Note the Source and the Date.
To sort feedback:
- Use the category filter to show one category, such as Accessibility or Events.
- Use the importance filter to show the highest-priority items first.
- Review the filtered list.
To decide on follow-up:
- Open each item.
- Set Requires follow-up to on if someone must respond.
- Assign the follow-up to the right person.
- Set the flag to off once it is handled.
What happens next
The feedback list shows what the community is saying, sorted by topic and importance. Items that need a response are flagged and assigned. The notes and categories feed into reports, so leaders can see themes across the community.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |

| The list is very long | Use the category and importance filters to focus on the most important items. |
| A submission is anonymous | Treat it as anonymous and do not try to identify the person. |
| Follow-up was not completed | Check the flagged items and reassign or follow up yourself. |
| You cannot change a submission | Open the item and select Edit to correct the details. |
